Not me, but there's no reason it wouldn't work that I can think of?

Not sure what the intent would be, I can't imagine the 2.3l sounds much better with an open pipe than not.

QTP will have a cutout kit and a muffler with cutout kit. forget the name for the muffler cutout hybrids.

I just put on a turn down and have open exhaust. It was cheaper and the cat and turbo are mufflers.

this exhaust shop by me actually has there own brand - not sure how they make it work for every vehicle though

There's a video somewhere on here of a guy running the 4 banger with an open pipe, can't say that sounded better to me.

Active exhaust usually comes on automatically when I eat spicy foods.
