My build is a 4DR hard top OBX, and now I want to also have a soft top for the summers. Today I finally got notice my Bronco's in production for week of 10/24, but the build does not currently include a soft top. Can I add the soft top post-delivery?

I don't think once it says in production you can't make changes. But if you want one tell your dealer when time gets closer and have them order you one or buy a nicer aftermarket one.

Aftermarket options are always nicer and usually cheaper if the bronco tax isn't included.

Oh this is great news. Phew! As long as I can add it later, I'm psyched. Won't need it until next June, anyway, after the Midwest thaws out.

Looking at the factory soft top, the Bestop is a much better option. It's pricey, but you're going to pay a lot, either way.

Okay glad to know I've got options and there isn't some no-turning-back-now thing where in order to have ANY soft top your original build has to have some kind of special setup from the factory.

Will now spend the next several months obsessing over OEM vs. aftermarket...

It's actually good you got the hard top. If you get the soft top and then go to a hard top you have to get the hardtop electrical hook up kit for the rear wiper and lights. So your already ahead of the game.

Ford oem ones have been selling for decent prices. I’ve seen from $800-$1500. As long as you get all the brackets with it no problems. I’m looking to do the same but have a soft top now. I’d also like both eventually.

Where are they being sold? Here? eBay?

What makes it much better?

My top is fine at highway speed. Yea I wish it went all the way back but the whole top being exposed is all that matters. Never has the top flopped at speed when folded back its to heavy it move.
