Aftermarket grill? Base is terrible.

Everything is perfect on the base except the grill, in my opinion. Is anyone offering aftermarket grills yet? What about buying another trim’s grill direct from ford? Is that possible?

If I had my WT I'd swap ya in a second. I can only hope I can find someone who wants to swap when I get mine. OP hold out till I get my and I'll trade ya. Prob be awhile, 12/13 production week.

I also think that the base grille is the best looking, especially with a contrasting color. Only change I might make on mine is paint/dip the letters dark bronze.

Already set up something with another forum member to swap my Big Bend for his base model grill. Excellent grill in my opinion.

This forum is great because anytime anyone voices their opinion on a subjective topic, almost all of the responses are inevitably from people who have to jump in and tell OP how much they like the thing that OP dislikes and is trying to change, with no information relevant to the question posed.

OP: clearly lots of people like the base grill, I’d make a post in the classifieds section trying to swap with someone who owns a trim with the grill you like. Short of that, the part numbers are posted here somewhere you can try to buy whatever trim grill you want from Ford parts.

Don’t know of any aftermarket grills yet though.

I dig the look of the Base, and would trade my Badlands grille if I had it. I’m hoping for chrome versions to come to market soon though as it will tie the rest of my plan together.

You should have no problem swapping. The Base grille is in high demand. To each there own, but base is best. Glad you’ll make somebody’s day.

You could try painting it in the mean time and see if that helps. Body color, black, carb gray, etc.

Keep it and trade it. Going to be a TON of beehive grilles up for sale or trade.
