Was wonder if anyone has done the swap successfully and been able to install the camera back to the a grill from a base not equipped with front camera

Why would it have to be modified if it had a camera opening or camera mounted previously? We swapped grills this morning. My base badlands grill has to be slightly modified using a deemed to create a bigger opening for the camera. Other than that it was a straight swap.
If the person you are swapping with already had the opening, then no, just swap the grilles and the housing holding the camera and water line. In my case, I was changning with someone who didn't have a camera, so I had to cut out the slot, but it was easy. Why would it have to be modified if it had a camera opening or camera mounted previously?

Sweet, thank you for that. I've been wondering about that as I haven't been lucky enough to come across a post verifying this. Appreciated!I swapped a Base grill onto my Badlands.
There is a small plastic bar in the center of the Base grill that needs to be removed (5 seconds with a Dremel) it's in the way of the camera mount. Once it's gone, camera bracket bolts right up to the Base grill - all the screw and bolt holes are already there.
Here check out my other post on the subject, I have a picture of the grille and the two pieces before and after to help.Sweet, thank you for that. I've been wondering about that as I haven't been lucky enough to come across a post verifying this. Appreciated!
