Getting new wheels, different offset, same tires. Should I do and alignment or waste of time/money?

Thank you...
Sorry, can’t help myself from being a dick at times. You’re welcome!

Changing wheel offset will change scrub radius, which can’t be fixed with an alignment. It mostly affects steering feel, but it’s a bronco, not a race car. Slap them wheels on and be done.

If your old tires show signs of poor alignment, if your steering wheel isn't straight or the vehicle drifts, or if your tire installer requires an alignment at time of installation for warranty - then yes.

Otherwise, not necessary.

Adjusting lift or doing other suspension changes would require an alignment though.

If your offset gives your tires more poke, then you may want to keep an eye on tire wear. Your alignment may be decent for your current offset but may cause more wear on tires at a wider track.

Very unlikely if it looks fine as is, but possible.
