I’ve searched and found several threads about the blower motors which stop working. 2022 Badlands SAS. All end with needing to take it to the Dealer. Blower fuse is good. Driving fast with the AC on air flow will come out of the vents cold so compressor is working, just no fan working.

Am I missing anything I should look at or try?

Cabin air filter, maybe... But probably just the crap failing that ford had to push out in a supply chain shortage that we will all have to take in to get replaced over the next few years. Already had 3 different sensor failures on my 23 in less that 10 k miles.

Thanks. Does a clogged cabin air filter completely shut off the blower motor?

if this happened at home in Colorado it would not be a big issue. Problem is it happened in Corpus Christi Texas on the hottest day of the year. Max air, recirc and fan on 7 with OAT at 104 with high humidity must have overloaded it!

we drove from Corpus to San Antonio this morning. At 70 plus mph there is enough air forced through the vents to make it almost comfortable. Tomorrow we drive to Colorado . . .

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

Just want to post the resolution . . .

It was the blower motor that went bad. I took it to a dealer who said it was 1000 miles out of factory warranty. I then contacted Ford through the above reference to see what they might be willing to do.

Ford stepped up and covered almost all of the blower replacement cost even with me showing up at the dealership out of warranty. Thanks Ford!

Wanted to come in to let people know I had a blower motor failure as well. Seems to be a common problem.

@Ford Motor Company

Mine just happen to happen during the hottest days of the year and it took them three weeks to even get me in to do the diagnostics.
