I just downsized from an F250 FX4 SCREW to a Bronco Badlands (non-SAS) LUX 2 door in AGM. The change has been, as you might imagine, immense.

There are things I'll miss about the F250, like the cargo space. I already miss the huge mirrors. And I'll miss all places in the cab to stow stuff. I doubt I'll miss the trips to the gas pump. The range afforded by the 34-gallon tank was nice. I just needed a cosigner to fill up. I won't miss the turning radius or, rather, the lack thereof. I had it to pull a travel trailer. We're selling the trailer so; I don't need the truck.

Now, this is actually my second Bronco, if the Bronco II (V6 manual 2WD) counts. It was nearly the same color as my new one. That one made 215,000 miles over 12 years setting the bar pretty high for this one.

I looked at Wranglers and Broncos. I went with this Bronco for three reasons. First, it costed less than a comparably equipped Rubicon. I'm retired, money matters. Second, I've had good luck with Ford trucks over the last 42 years. Third, my dad had an IH Scout. Gen6 Broncos look like what I'd imagine the Scout would look if IH still made them. More so than the Broncos of that time period.

This truck will probably be classed as a "pavement princess" or a "mall crawler." I'm not that into off-road as recreation and my wilderness days are behind me.

The mods/accessories I have planned, the list is already quite long, are mostly interior. I've already started with a stubby antenna (I did say "mostly"), screen protector, and grab handles. Steps are on the way. Even 32's put the door a fair ways up. There's going to be quite a bit of molle to get back some of that storage space.

I'm here to find ideas and solutions that work. For a four-year-old model, there's already a lot of stuff out there, some good, some not so much. You folks have already helped pick through the options. there will be more.

Oh, and that turning radius thing? Hooking a U from the left turn lane into the inside lane is incredible.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading. I hope it was at least mildly interesting.

2dr for the win!

If the mirror issue that you miss the wide field of view. A camera based rear view mirror might an answer.
They can give a super wide view, plus your spare won't be blocking your vision.
If you want a dash cam, there a couple of vendors that have rear view mirrors with dash cams built in.

I also have a 02 F250 crew cab with 8ft bed, it turns like a ship. the Bronco is so nimble and fun.
I do however feel like I am at the gas station all the time with the Bronco due to its tiny tank. Well compared to the 36ish gallons of the F250.

Congrats. You aren't far from St. Augustine. If you are up for the drive, there will be over a 100 Broncos on the beach this Saturday (7/6 8am-1pm) for an annual event. Vendor donations to raffle to support St. Jude Children's Hospital. The event itself doesn't cost anything other than the county beach pass and any raffle tickets you would like.

It's two-door because I can count on one hand the number of times I had anyone sitting in the rear seat of that 4-door F250 in 5 years. On those rare occasions, they can climb in the back.

The top of the F250 tailgate was ~5ft off the ground. Small cars could disappear behind it. Then I added a cap. I relied heavily on the side mirrors and 360 cameras for maneuvering. The convex mirror covered the blind spots rendering the blind spot indicator superfluous. Visibility is much better with the Bronco, and I can actually use the rearview mirror. I think it's more something to get used to rather than a problem to fix.

Thanks for the suggestions, though.
