But it will work where AM does not.
You could sign up for a free trial, and then cancel every time you go on a trip.
LOL
I have XM in my RV, I suspend it during the winter and then reactivate for the summer, no sense paying for it sitting in the RV area. I do need it as we camp off grid a lot.

Does XM still have about a 10 song rotation per station?

Old school GOOD
My kid and I were hanging out by his 70 EB, and the only complaint we have about the 6G antenna is that IT'S ON THE WRONG SIDE. 😉😉

No, that used to piss me off, but now its about 100.
HAHAHA yea it used to be horrible and now if you change stations you can keep it pretty random. Also, the app for SmartPhones can be used like Pandora for more variety.

You know I love that noise.😍

But it's more like thrrrapp-boinnggg followed by a decreasing syncopated pattern of ticktickticktickticktickticktick.

Being "old school" because let's face, I am old, I guess I just don't even see antennas sticking out of a vehicles anymore. Kinda of used to them. :)

Antennas are not that complicated...I remember just sticking some copper wire in when I was a kid (or some used a coat hanger). But, copper conducts better. The key is having the correct dipole length. If you are familiar with CB radios, extra long antennas are used and a SWR (standing wave ratio) meter is used to match the antenna with the radio by cutting off small lengths of the antenna until you get the best performance.
