WARNING - This will be a boring thread for most of you! I am trying to enhance the look of my stock exhaust system by replacing part of it with dual stainless steel black exhaust tips that will clamp onto my current 2 1/2" exhaust pipe. I know many of you must be asking BUT WHY? PURELY COSMETIC! Not interested in changing the power at this time - or most likely ever. Not interested in changing the sound at this time - or most likely ever. I am more than satisfied with both the power and the sound of my stock exhaust system for my purposes. It's just that I don't like the look of my stock exhaust system - because of the lack of dual stainless steel black exhaust tips. I come from a sports car background - and yes I know that this is no sports car - but I just like that look. And there are many companies that sell the dual stainless steel black exhaust tips - and it should be a fairly easy install. So I am just throwing this out there to see what others on the forum may think or share any ideas that they may have - given what my objective is in doing this. And although I know that many of you may want to try to convince me to replace the exhaust with one that will provide more power and/or more sound - but thanks for not doing so. I am more interested in hearing from those that may have gone the route that I am going on - and can maybe suggest a manufacturer that they are familiar with that makes the dual stainless steel black exhaust tips.
