The subwoofer is in and working. The only thing left to do is a little more dynmatting (on the floor and the passenger rear trim panel.

First and foremost I MUST say a BIG THANK YOU to all that contributed to these threads. This forum made it possible for me to do all the work myself. While I could have had it done, it's kind of nice to do it yourself (a point of pride).

I'm running a pair of Rockford Fosgate prime 6.5 components in the kick panels (w/o the tweeters), a set of JBL 6.5 coax in Mabett pods for the roll bar speakers, and a pair of Infinity reference 4" dash speakers (w/ 300hz bass blockers). This is all powered by a Key200.4 amp w/ 80hz filtering. For the sub I took the easy way out, 6.75 kicker and factory amp. The Kicker 6.75 w/ the ford amp, won't pound but it fills out the bottom end of classic rock that was missing. Lots of old (10 year old) Dynamat was used.

So, how does it sound? Well, this is NOT the best car audio system I have ever had, BUT it is pretty darn good! You won't thump 2 cars over, but Skynyrd & Floyd sound the way they should. I don't envision doing a lot of topless driving here in Phoenix (even in the winter the sun is damn strong), this sounds really good, top on, windows up, but I could see if you're in a more tempered climate, a bit more power and bass would not hurt. I have not heard the B&O system but I'd be surprised if this was not head and shoulders above the B&O. Moving Pictures @ volume 23 is quite impressive. The Kicker tuning and eq add a lot to the sound. For an investment of less than 1K, I'd say this GREATLY improved the bronco's sound and driving experience.

Thanks again
