B&O speakers - best speaker wires to connect ?

Does anyone know best speaker wires to connect to? I added a sub/amp for more base and lower frequency. However, I think the installer tapped into the sub line which initially I would think would be a good thing but ford/B&O must be blocking or leasing the signal for the low frequencies because the mid low hit much harder than the really low. Does anyone have any insight into this? Would it be better to tap into the rear speakers or another way? Or is there a way to open up the frequencies if ford is interfering?
