Backup camera housing defect

Has anyone noticed the backup camera housing having this defect in the plastic?
I’m OCD when it comes to this kind of stuff. When a person pays good money for a vehicle they shouldn’t have to see this kind of workmanship. I think it is probably where the injection molding finished. My salesman said he has seen it before on other Broncos.
Quality control should of caught this blip.

I’m sure it’s fine for now, but after years of getting “sun baked” it will probably become brittle and start letting in moisture. I’m sure this will happen long after the warranty expires. That being said, Ford will have to pony up and install a new cover while it’s under warranty.

is that a defect or is that happening when getting tires rotated? Assuming its a 5 wheel deal. Could be the wheel dragging on the plastic....

I just took delivery last week and noticed it during my initial inspection. Just came off the assembly line.

lol welp......unless you are very proactive that ain't it!!

Zooming in on photo, almost looks like it was cracked and somebody attempted a (poor)plastic weld fix. Have it replaced while still under warranty. If it was out of warranty I would seal up what looks like a crack by plastic welding it.
