I bought my bronco used and the previous owner lost the second key.

The dealership wants to charge me $600-700 to copy the key fob.

Im wondering if anyone has the ability to do this? I've got a blank keyfob that I bought from a Ford OEM parts store - my understanding is that you need a dealer login to be able to do this for a reasonable price...

By your own fob and program them in the center console. Easy. Fobs cost $34-45ea. You can have 2 fobs. These will not have the cut key though. That’s costs more.

One small detail. The OP only has one fob, the other was lost by the previous owner.

I bought a third fob so I would still have a fob for self programming if I lost one.
