Best Auto Side Steps?

Going to be putting auto folding side steps on my Bronco. What has been everyone's experience with the best brand to put on? Saw the RC and AMP. Never heard good things about RC but would love to hear what everyone else thinks is the best brand to use!

Was between those and the Xtreme cause the Xtreme is a dual motor

I have RockSlide Engineering. I use them because they double as a slider and since I rock crawl it was a must.

I love them, they take a beating and still look good. Install was a little challenging, but the electronic have done well through water and mud.

I give them a 4/5 as the motor had to be replaced on the passenger side. I was standing close and it opened into my leg, which broke the motor. Seemed a bit easy to break it but hasn't happened since.

I installed RC eSteps on my wife’s Heritage 15 months ago and they have been great - no issues and very straightforward installation.

if I were to install motorized steps on my Braptor, I would go for the RSE.

I found the factory step to be positioned to high for me to comfortably step up into the Bronco without sliding across the seat side bolster. I installed the RC E-boards with dual motors and these are not only a wider step but perfectly positioned (lower) to enable a very comfortable step and the swing into position perfectly in the seat. I did one enhancement to mine. I installed a strip LED that runs all the way down the side above the step. This enabled me to connect to the forward LED connectors and eliminate the wires showing from the Puck LED's provided with the kit from either showing wrapping around the pinch weld, or worse drilling the pinch weld to pass the wire through. I purchased these LEDs from Superbrightleds.com (been using them for years) and just put the mating connector on the end of each strip to directly connect to the RC harness. Bottom line I am very happy with the install and the position of the step, how wide they are and the quality of the kit. Well Done Rough Country.

Personally, I prefer Rock Slide Engineering. Decent install and hold up well out on the trail!

Another vote for Rockslide Engineering. Yes, we do not "crawl" so much in S. FL, but they are solid and the few things I have banged them on, no issues. Also a great step and place to stand when doing things on the topside of the Bronco.

I have the original run of RSE for the bronco from Nov 21. They have been a disaster. I have had both motors replaced, both control boards replaced, had to install a new wiring harness and was sent a replacement board for my passenger side. Just last night the driver side broke again. I figure my issues are partly because of the first Bronco production run and the fact they spent a Vermont winter and now three Wyoming winters which are pretty rough on everything. Regardless, it's been frustrating. They are great when they work and hopefully the current "Gen 3" is more reliable than mine.

I do know a couple people with AMP and have had no issues.

I've had go rhino boards for 2 years now, through a couple Alaska winters. Zero issues. I'm very happy with them.

My RSE’s have been great in my experience no issues with the motors, functional rock slides with the click of a button below my steering wheel to turn the steps off if needed. Love them.
