I think there’s a line of people who’d like to slap the wizards of smart at Chevy who thought this was worthy of the Blazer badge. If they had to resurrect a model name, Citation would have been more appropriate for that people mover.

Going to agree with this one. Bronco Sport should have been the full-model change Escape which slotted in nicely below the Exploder. The product lineup would have been just fine with that and downgrade the current Escape to whatever you call a tarted up Fiesta (sorry, all CUV's are just used napkins to me, throw them out) since it's really just a Focus with 2" lift now anyway.

Having Bronco and Bronco Sport at the same time was yet another Ford product planning blunder. Thankfully Ford has a long history of producing well above average results when the put a small team to work developing a product. It all goes a bit sideways when they bring in the entire Six-Sigma-secret-handshake bastards into product development.....

That will speak well of Bronco, and ill of Bronco Sport.
