Bottle Jack Lifting Points?

Thanks! It seems that my bolts extend a bit further than yours do:

I'm coming up with some crazy ideas but I think I can make it work... just need to heavily verify before ever actually taking the wheel off

I installed my bolts facing the other direction so the threads weren’t hanging down in the rocks

I purchased two of these to
1) to weld to a new ‘High Lift’ bottle jack looks like all high lift are at least 20 ton
2) fab/weld adapter for a floor jack

by lifting at axles you don’t need to lift as high as a body lift

Me too, but my focus was on ... Offroad jacking and here is the jack I just purchased and will weld one of the cups to it. Since I have an ARB twin compressor rated for 150# I choose an air assisted jack. Figured I can place it and get away to lift vehicle ... not under it jacking the manual level... Most likely will build a bottom plate to work in soft ground.

It's a 12 ton, instead of 20

Oh! Now that you mention it that's definitely an interesting design choice.

I may have to do the same. How intensive of a process is that?

Well it was when I was installing new coil overs… so was just part of the install. On stock I can’t recall if those were pressed-in studs or actual bolts that you could just flip.

If they are bolts it would be super simple - just do one at a time and Bob’s your uncle.

If they are pressed in I would just leave them alone and let the rocks take care of grinding them down for you - or you would need to press them out, which would require removing the shock (or at least dropping the LCA off).

Yeah, stock is pressed in.

There is a reason I didn’t flip mine with aftermarket coilovers though. Can’t remember what it was. Maybe I didn’t like how close the bolt was to the boot with the 32 spline CV’s? Hmm. Not sure
