Bought 285/70R-17 tires for my base bronco 2 door. Is one inch lift enough?

I bought a base Antimatter Blue two door. I bought some 17x9 rims. I love the way they look but the two front tires rub against the crash bar. I dont want to take out the bars. I am going to do a lift kit but these are wide tires (over 11 inches wide). Anyone know if I need 1 inch or two inch lift kit? Is 1 inch enough to prevent the rubbing? Thanks

I'm surprised they rub. A couple companies make high clearance crash bars. Even if an inch clears them now, they'll rub again once the suspension flexes.

Must be the offset of the rims I have 285/70/17 on my stock OBX sale base suspension you have. But on badlands rims no rubbing. Do they run on the rear bars or front? Rear are less than 5 min to remove. Fronts with the plastic bumper yeah they are a bit more work.
