Since you are in PA, CSX will probably your rail carrier. When you hit shipped status, Ford chat can give you the rail car number, then follow this to get a location update:

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Thanks but my window sticker actually says it is coming by truck.

I latched onto buying someone else's special order (trusting the dealership not to have screwed someone; they said the person backed out for fiscal reasons) so I am not in the order system for the email updates.

I am leveraging the fabulous info on this forum however:

No update visible yet, but PCM Modules are active and tear tag issued. Blend date of 3/21 and number 77 out of 1002

Actually, I did drive around the lot to see if your Oxford snuck in. No such luck. Neither of our rigs showed up on Portsmouth's website, either. I guess Ford stopped putting special orders out for the public to see.

I wonder about this. The special order I latched onto was on the dealer's website and I asked them why they would advertise a vehicle that was spoken for (when they told me they needed to have the person confirm they would not be taking delivery). Dealership said Ford puts them up automatically. Kind of suspicious if this is not happening consistently.

I bet it is more of a Dealer blames Ford, Ford blames Dealer thing.
I wouldn't worry too much about your situation. I don't think there is much risk of a dealer screwing over an order holder anymore. With special orders and dealer stock going for MSRP and under, there isn't any incentive to screw someone out of an order they made 4-10 months ago. Back when dealers were getting $5k-$10+K over MSRP, some dealers thought it was worth the bad blood/publicity to sell someone's order out from under them.

Awesome! I plan on going over on Monday. I need the weekend to clean out my trade-in and rig up a garage lift to get the cap off. Plus, there's a storm moving in later in the week.

Guess what I saw while I was picking up my OBX!

And in case you were worried (like I was), yes, they installed the tow receiver. Mark had them installed over the weekend.
Not 10 min. after bringing it home, Miss Thing there here tried to bash her stick into the doors.

Haha nice, thank you! Funny the builds are so similar, the geography must dictate it a little bit. Funny that I also have a yellow lab that loves sticks, the new ride is going to seem like a damage magnet for awhile. Congrats, perhaps we'll see you out on the road
