When did you get yours? I need to check to see if I have the updated one.
Mine came installed on the mannaquin Bronco I bought from the dealer. They installed the light bar and a bunch of other Ford Performance accessories for display on the showroom floor. The dealer said they did not receive 2 sets of mounting brackets as listed in the Installation Manual. When I emailed FWRNTY, they askes for a photo of the back of my lightbar, and immediatly said I had an old revision. My dealer had to contact them to get the new revision, and they are supposed to ship it to me for swap out and return. That has not happened yet, but should get cleared up next week.

Follow up. Ford Performance sent me the current shipping version of the light bar. It had both hardtop and softop mounting brackets, and a pretty solid air damper strip pre installed on the bottom half of the back of the bar. I swapped the brackwts to the taller softtop version and mounted the new version light bar. Very little windnoise, no whistling, and no soft top "turbulence" up to 70 mph !!! I have to return the original light bar to Ford next week, but they even sent a prepaid fedex lable for that.

Nice. I just got back from a 2k mile road trip. The wind noise is pretty minimal, and you are right, no whistling. The wind noise seemed more like a slight droning at high speeds. But overall, i'm very pleased with it.

Do you get the whistle with the covers on the light? I keep the covers on until needed on the trails.

I did get the covers… thought they were ugly but now that you said it…. Problem solved! Put the covers on the lights… 50 mph top down no whistle at all and since I’m going to put amber covers on it anyway for the AZ desert, I won’t be stuck with the logo’d ones…

I'm glad that worked out for you. :) Let me know if you want to get rid of the logo'd ones. I'm also looking for a set of the logo'd mirror light covers as well.

I have the 4” Rigid 360 ditch lights as well. Once I get the Ambers, I’ll reach back out.

Resurrecting this to say that if anybody has the soft top brackets for the light and isn’t using them I’ll buy them off of you!

So, I have the light bar mounted now and only wiring left. This kit comes with mounting brackets for hard top and soft top. The Soft top bracket is taller. Now I understand why the redesigned to the taller bracket. When I installed it with the shorter bracket, at speeds over 30mph it caused a flag flapping sound in the soft top. With the taller bracket, there is no flapping and no whistling sound. Once you get up over 60mph, there is a very slight hum, but it is not that bad. I will probably wire this up either tonight or sometime tomorrow but wanted to share info on the brackets. I'll post more pictures of the wiring when complete.
Update: Adding wiring pictures to post.

Heh...CAN YOU HELP ME?
I ordered the 40" Rigid Light Bar through my Dealer. I got the BRRL version as I needed the brackets that mount to the Ford roof rack. Only the brackets are different. I do not have my Bronco yet. I am leaving on vacation and am getting my brackets (and other stuff painted) painted. I want to make sure they sent me the right ones. The photo here shows the one's I received......are they different than yours? (they should be as yours mounts to the roof). That was question #1. Second.....I also have the upfitter switches. My Rigid did NOT come with a wiring harness. Should it have? Do I need to order one? I will have my Dealer do the install (part of the sales deal). I presume since the Bronco is prewired, they just need to run a short wire and tap in (it's up behind the trim/window visor. I just need to make sure I have the right bracket before I go and paint the wrong one's.
Thanks....very few answers and photos available.

The shipping box says wiring harness sold seperate....but I think that is generic on the box. Is a wiring harness needed? Thanks again! Shipping box:

I do not think those are the correct brackets. Did they order your kit from Ford Performance? It should come with 2 sets of brackets. One for hard top and one for soft top. Also the wiring harness came attached to the light bar. It has a hot and ground wire in it. Are you saying that there is not a wiring cable connected to the light bar?

Yes it has a lead wire red and black coming out but not a "harness". I believe these are the correct brackets after some research. I have the hard top WITH the OEM rack. When you have a rack installed, they send different brackets as this fastens to the rack. If you have no rack, the brackets are different. Thanks though.....I was hoping someone else with the roof rack bought this to compare.

The Ford order # for my kit is: M-15200K-BRRL The BRRL is for the roof rack mount.
