Bronco Intervention by SO?

Mine just rolls her eyes when I'm on my phone or computer and she says 'Whatcha doing??' and my answer is Bronco related. Happens daily.

I get the same reaction when I say 'Hey babe look at this!' and it's Bronco related...

Mine rolls hers too.

I tell her she should be thanking me as all the eye rolling exercise is helping to keep her eyes looking young.

I've been annoying the crap out of my wife about trucks and SUV's for 20 years, especially the original Bronco. Go and ask her about the challenger I told it goodnight, every night for a few weeks just to watch her reaction. Open the door to the garage, talk to it for a second and then tell it goodnight.

My GF approached me the other day to inform me that it has been almost a year since I made my reservation. In that year there has not been a day that has gone by where I did not mention something about the Bronco, or show her some pic of a Bronco, or try to get her to watch a video, or something.

Although, she too is excited about the Bronco, she told me, very politely, to give it a rest.

Apparently I've given her enough information to last two life times.

Has anyone else's Significant Other threatened an intervention?

My wife knows I only hear what I want to hear and she only hears what she wants to hear from me, that's why our marriage has lasted 36 years now

Once I placed the order for my Outer Banks Rig.....it became her new ride and I was politely told that I could place an order for a MY22 if I really wanted one for myself

Although the Bronco is 100% my excitement and my vehicle, I try to not talk too much about it to my fiancé. Actually, she's usually the one to ask me from time-to-time if I have any news on my order or ask questions about it. Not that she's into it, but she knows I'm excited about it.

I keep all my crazy Bronco talk and annoyance to my friends, lol.

By now, after numerous complaints and hand wringing, my wife totally ignores any sentence with the words Bronco or Jeep in it. She is not necessarily being rude, I just think it is her information overload coping mechanism.
