Let’s stop focusing on the negatives. Here are 8 *GREAT* things about being the holder of an unconsummated Last Edition order:
(1) you learned how Ford PR flaks sound when they want to project “honesty” and “empathy”.
(2) Ford sent you a poster. Of some sketches.
(3) Ford sent you a sticker.
(4) They invited you to some far-off, quasi-scheduled gathering where you can ogle other people’s Broncos, except not really.
(5) you get plenty of time to watch Jeep and others inexorably leapfrog your proud purchase. (But you won’t be tempted; your money’s tied up in your unfulfilled Last Edition order)
(6) as a year+ reservation holder, you get to watch vids of happy happy youtubers taking deliveries of Broncos they decided to buy 5 minutes ago.
(7) You are a strong, independent ... something: Coming on the heels of lockdowns, this whole thing has taught you how much abuse you really can take
(8) your headliner is not coming away from your MIC.
Yet.
Life is good! Ford is good!
