I went to the Ford dealership to place a 2024 order for an HE and caught this Bronco Sport on fire in the service department. A couple of fire extinguishers still could not put out the fire. I apologize in advance if this is your bronco.

that's not the proper way to use the fire extinguisher.

it's going to be a serious warranty repair now.

Is it get in the rig, pull the hood release lever, burn your hand lifting up the hood, then spray?

There a recall on the fuel injectors cracking potentially causing fire. Wonder if that was the cause

My partner bought her 2022 BS OBX on 1/6/23. She passed away in April. I sold her car back to the dealer where she bought it on 5/15/23. Being an estate sale there's some extra paperwork involved. I called the used car manager a few weeks ago to ask about it. Once he explained the paperwork he told me that the car burnt up. Apparently it was test driven and afterward the couple and salesman were looking it over, heard a pop under the hood and the flames started. By the time the fire company got there it was totaled. Ford sent engineers to look at it, but the dealer didn't have any feedback when I spoke to him.

That car was in my attached garage most days that she owned it. It surely had the potential to burn the house down! Consensus among friends and family is she REALLY didn't want anyone else to have her car and made sure.

Here's a pic they sent me:
