This was the third one of these I tried that approach and it finally paid of.
I looked at the 2door Defender and it’s tiny like a sports car, zero space behind the rear seats. I had hard time believing they designed it that small!Made a reservation 7/14/2020…. Wanted a 2dr Wildtrak with the Black Mod Top….. Placed my order Feb 2021… soon got the word the Black Mod Top was being pushed to MY 2023…. Had the dealer 99 my order status….Now F@#king Ford says No Black Mod Tops for 2023…. Had the dealer submit my 2dr Wildtrak order for a 2023 with the damn gray mic top… Ford just confirmed the order… the wait continues… lets see how long it takes from here.
Side note: With Ford unable to build what I wanted.. In Sept of 2021 Land Rover accepted my order for a 2dr Defender 90X… Received the Defender in January 2022….
Looking forward to having both the 2dr Defender and the 2dr Wildtrak available for which ever I feel like playing with on any particular day.

True there isnt much room at all behind the back seat in the Defender 90. There is however a fair amount of room in the rear seat passenger area. Too each their own… for my purposes the Defender 90 with the roof rack and side mount foldout ladder works fine for me

How did you manage to get one at MSRP? I have been looking on cars.com and calling dealers nationwide who have anything listed for MSRP. It is always the same dance and then comes down to $5-10k ADM
