Have you seen that Chinese 1/8 scale.

No, but I have a Chinese 18th. I told one of my buddies that I'm screwed if someone makes a Bronco body for the SCX6.

Traxxas did a decent job on Area 51 although I think its a shade dark. 4M Area51 looks almost identical to my custom paint mix so it works for me. I was disappointed by their "blue" not being Velocity Blue like their 10th scale one. So I already have a paintable body to make it accurate. Rumor has it Traxxas is going to have a 4M Bronco body in clear lexan too.

Just looked this up. For that price I'll stick with my TRX4s. It has me curious though.

Do you have one? I'm curious about the true size.

Traxxas 10th scale is notoriously oversized. Axial is worse. My 60s Axial Bronco 2 door is wider and same length as the TRX 4 door lol.

I watched that vid just now. So this is really more like a oversize 10th scale since it has 2.2 wheels and tires. Those are common on 10th scale rock bouncers. I'm still intrigued but the fact they don't include a 5th wheel and tire is laughable.

Not to mention not a licensed product but that doesn't deter me

You can get or could get a Traxxas TRX4 Bronco for $499.99 ($50 off) and have crazy parts support, aftermarket like it was a 5.0 Fox Body Mustang, and get 2 speed trans, locking diffs, etc. This is a pretty close Traxxas clone IMO, just sized up. Funny that Traxxas just announced the high lift Bronco which is their long suspension kit ($170ish) and (4) 2.2 wheels and tires. Traxxas pulled a Traxxas and forgot to put a 2.2 wheel and tire on the spare mount. That new one looks hilarious with the lift and 1.9 spare to me.

I have 3 TRX4 Broncos (1 is the 1979). I'm very happy with them, they perform well after some critical upgrades. Just not sure about this clone plus the longer wait for parts.

(Real 21+ Bronco owners have been groomed to except long wait times )

Not me, I don't go crazy with scale stuff but I do want my Broncos looking correct or more accurate.

A good friend of mine for over twenty years owns a hallmark just a few minutes from where I work. He invited me to stop by one evening so I did. He knows I have a two door basequatch on order so he gave me this little Bronco Christmas tree ornament which I thought was pretty cool.

I don't know guys. These model rc and die cast Broncos can be addictive like the full size ones. I got the Traxxas TRX-4 1/10 scale and the mods have started. Got the high and low beam led lights on it. Day time running lights, reverse lights, signal lights and brake lights. Just compiled the tent trailer colour matched still waiting on the roof rack and accessories for the trailer. Tomorrow it gets the Traxxas lift kit and bigger wheels. Lots more to do but it’s some fun
