I do not see anywhere to post this. I'm 51 and my eyes are not what they use to be , obviously. However I have to say whoever laid out this forum has absolutely zero knowledge of contrasting fonts with backgrounds. The reply and share and all those buttons need to be much darker. Maybe not black , but if you want something different , do a Ford blue. Something other than a very very light grey. Its extremely difficult to see. I have the browser set to default standards , and this should be an easy fix. This is a request and I'm sure i'm not the only one struggling to see where to click reply and other highlights ( that are not really highlighted ). Please =)

I tried default , dark and both have the same result. Now I know I can change it personally for myself. That is true. However I'm trying to look out for more than just myself. When you design webpages , you work within the confines of what windows uses by default and you work with that. That would affect the majority of users. Most people do not monkey around with colors of specific items within Microsoft Edge. So you build websites/forums using the default colors as a guide. Also , If I change the color for myself personally , it will conflict with other websites that do adhere to using the default as a base. So eh. Just a personal request as this is a very hard forum to see the elements that would matter for forum usage.

I dunno, I'm 59 and my eyes aren't what they used to be, and I find this site one of the easier ones to navigate. I use all Apple devices, so maybe it's different on Windows...?

wow ok , that worked , such a wierd design aspect. Odd that the default is harder to read.

I thought you said you had tried Dark Mode?

Personally, I can't stand white on black text, but obviously some folks prefer it...

I tried the dark mode in windows edge settings , not the website. I had no idea that was a selection. Most websites do not have that. Certainly dark mode would be the preferred default setting over what it is now.
