These bushwacker flares crack easily in cold weather. Gets expensive if they are painted. Unpainted floppy flares all the way man

Typical Bushwhacker garbage, most of their newer stuff uses double-sided tape and a couple screws to hold it on, and pocket flares in general have always looked like ass in my opinion.

However throw some 14" wires and Remingtons on there and it would look perfectly normal on cruise night in L.A..

As much as I dislike these it might not be a bad option for me since I live on a dirt road. Anyone have personal experience with these? How well do they protect from mud?

Yeah, no offense but I'm guessing you don't live on a dirt road. Either that or you're one of them fancy folk that have a concrete pad

If I wanted to wash my vehicle every day I could, but I would be miles ahead by keeping the mud off to begin with.

Just like everyone else I hate the way these look, but if it saves me from avoiding dings and scratches then I'm more apt to get them.

Without seeing one in person I'm not sure if mud flaps will work at all with SAS.
