Hmmm, how hard can it be, 5 seconds on a calculator one time for filling from empty and then something similar if not empty?

Give it a try let me know how it goes after doing to for a month..
Don't have my Bronco yet. I suppose I could do it in my supercharged 4Runner.

Can you let me know what you find difficult, honestly curious.

So since most if not all E85 is between 55 and 70% ethanol if tested and you typically put 18 gallons of gas in you could put 9 gallons of premium and 9 gallons of e85 you would have e28 to e35 blend in your tank what is so difficult

Yea but are you going to drive around till you’re almost empty to get your calculations right, Not all gas stations sell E85, if you don’t mix it right you’ll throw a limp mode code cause the ecu can’t compensate for the ethanol levels. That why I say it’s a pain to deal with. You really gain no benefit from running e85 until it’s tuned. Even if you run the JB4 they don’t recommend any higher than e30 because the HPFP pump taps out on flow volume. With stock setup even with bolt ons the torque curves look better with 93

Look up e85 tunes on the f150 forums. 2.7L can handle it stock. Dual injection gives enough fuel for it. RIP warranty obviously but it can be done.

Edit: brew city boost’s website:

https://www.brewcityboost.com/bcb-2-7l-ecoboost-dyno-results/

For those that don’t know the big differentiator between Gen1 (2015-2017) and Gen2 (2018-2020) is the addition of Port Injection (PI) on the Gen2 engines. The Gen1 design only utilized Direct Injection (DI) and with the addition of PI to the Gen2 the fueling system capacity allows us to run full E85 without any fuel system mods, just a tune calibrated for the fuel. What this means for the Gen1 engines is we are limited in Ethanol content, E30 is about as far as you can go without any fuel system mods and E50 is capable with a simple boost a pump or intank fuel pump upgrade like a DW400.

2018-2020 2.7L Ecoboost (Gen2)

Stock Tune : 383 TQ / 306 HP

BCB E85 Custom : 522 TQ / 431 HP

Gains over Stock : +139 TQ / +125 HP
It’s to bad they closed down I had their tune on my f150 2.7

I personally don't care what anybody else runs or dont run but I do know at what point on fuel gauge how much fuel I will be putting in and the math is not difficult. If the gas station does not have e85 I don't run it. As stated before I typically do run my vehicle near empty. Except winter but I never blend fuel in winter so no biggie and as far as tuning goes I have never had a stock tuned vehicle except my 2022 gladiator which I only had seven months

The ecu will only compensate for 10-15% ethanol added fuels. I believe in the F150’s you could change that ethanol percentage with forscan but not much
No it won't, you can run much more than that... LOL

It isn't hard to mix for E30 with a smartphone. There are plenty of online calculators.

I know the calculator’s, but I don’t you really want to guess how much gas I have left, how much I need, make 2 transactions waste 20 minutes of my day filling up my daily driver.

I occasionally run a 50/50 e85 mixed with 97 octane unleaded available here. Im also running a piggy backed jb4 tuner with more aggressive fuel maps. Zero issues running this mix. Feels like a 75hp gain. Dont care about 2-3 mpg loss.
Are you using map 4 or 5?
Are you saying that you run 1/2 tank e85 mixed with 1/2 97? Can you explain why?
