The capable bumper is out there finally. Has anyone come up with a license plate bracket for this bumper?

We've got you covered. Our bracket is made in the USA out of aluminum, powder coated and has a lifetime warranty. It requires no extension bits to install either. It's designed to use 2 of the factory mounting bolts on your truck and with your license plate installed, the mount is hidden so you don't see it sticking out. If you ever decide to go off-roading and want to remove it, you can do so easily as well

With the capable you just need to drill 2 holes to mount it (similar to what Ford does for your rear license plate bracket). Some folks use a nut on the back, others just use a self-tapping screw.

So excited for this! I was starting to resign myself to the factory bracket (which appears to sit lower on the capable bumper than it did on the modular bumper in the few pics I've seen, but still not ideal). Thanks for the work, can't wait to give you my money!

Here’s my $5 Home Depot solution. There’s a bolt behind the bumper that I put a little bracket on, then just screwed it into the stock dealer plate holder.

I took @Downinthehazletwoods idea a step further. Found this bracket on the Amazon for just over $6. Comes with hardware to attach the plate, but I added some lock washers.

Used the larger bolt (1/2" head) just a bit towards the center of the vehicle.
