GenX here and love chrome for certain vehicle colors. Have bronze RTRs to go on the Bronco because of the color. The white, black, or blue Broncos look great with chrome shoes. The green or red broncs can go with bronze. I think the others can go with black or machined. All of that is my opinion of course and I don't knock anyone's style choice. Do what you think looks good, to you.
My neighbors kid, GenZer, loved my wife's white F150 with chrome, so when he bought his first brand-new truck, he put chrome on it, with all his friends asking WTH. Now about half of them run chrome. I think sometimes, people have to see it and then it becomes a "Hey, that looks pretty good with that color". All black, takes me instantly to spare tire or hubcaps missing thoughts instantly. That's just my age showing itself alittle though.
