I have replaced mine zero times. I do have a ceramic tint on the inside how will this work with it?

Curious if some of those folks getting lots of rock chips are close followers (aka tailgaters)?

Learned from driving my Wrangler/CJs over the years, is to actively avoid getting stuck in close following situations, and in particular stay away from the back of semi-trucks.

Avoid dump/refuse trucks at all cost, cringe when I see people following behind those trucks. A little vehicle placement strategy can go a long way to avoiding chips and dings.

Got a nasty chip in the first week of ownership that I repaired. Now 2 years later the repair has held up and I haven’t had to replace the original windshield yet.

Is anyone able to give feedback on if products like this are able to prevent broken/cracked windshields?

I understand it's hard to prove such a thing (prove this product saved my windshield from being broken from that rock), but are there any studies or tests that show these products are effective?

That seems like a lot moisture between the film and the glass. Has this product been real world tested by anyone who lives where it freezes in the winter?

I have replaced my windshield once. I was driving from TX to GA. Was so sad...not my new windshield has some minor pitting....this shield is a great idea.
