I actually like these... the pinch covers can be ordered powder coated, but how is the hardware?

I purchased mudflaps last year, but the hardware made them look horrible due to rusting within a few weeks after installation... in the summer...

The bolts are black oxide coated with zinc plated nuts and lock washers.

@bossbroncos Any idea whether these pinch weld guards will work with CBIā€™s rock sliders?

Are these U shaped? The only thing Iā€™m concerned on any of these solutions is if it will hold water and road salt in a place you want dry.

Not 100% sure, but it looks like they will work with CBI's sliders, as long as there is room for the 1/8" thick plate that wraps under the pinch weld. We will have a flat version out soon that will cover just the face.

The guards are L-shaped. We are also working on a flat version that will simply cover the face.

Sorry about the trouble. I just checked and the cart price shows correct on my end. If you are having trouble getting the free shipping, you have to first select "more carriers" then the "free shipping" option will be on that drop down menu. We can also email you an invoice if you want to send me a PM. Thank you!

Give the guy a break. Some people like to buy parts. Some are happy with just paint. Just be happy there is another part out there for Broncos. I guess if youā€™re going to make a pinch weld cover, one that wraps it is better than a piece of flat stock.

Following for 4-door version. Does this work with the stock side steps?
We have 2 versions available (coming soon for 4-door). The "guards" that wrap underneath will not work with side steps, but the flat "cover" version will, however, those use black zinc coated button head bolts instead of the countersunk.

The counter sunk look is what I was attracted to

I haven't looked at the connection for the steps, and the relative location of the brackets to the pinch welds but I thought there was some clearance between them. Not the case huh??

Can't take the steps off, install the 'cooler looking' pinch weld covers, and reinstall the steps??

I will need to see pictures of how your steps mount. There needs to be at least 1/8" of clearance between them and the pinch weld seam, and 3/4" of clearance past the face for where they wrap underneath.
