Considering MODing painted Hard Top

So order 99 status has me considering options for the default Hard top. Consider Sand, tape, paint to a black satin. Later down the road maybe order the Modular hard top in black. But with shipping cost I'm sure that will be ridiculously expensive. Anyway, just playing with the idea. I have all the equipment to do it, its just the idea of wear and tear and longevity. Top and panels coming on and off cant be good for any painted part.

Went a little crazy, but just looking at funny options. lol.

Ive decided that the wife will get a MY21 w/ MIC top and then use her other reservation for MY22 w/ mod top (hoping for white). Figure have a better, quicker chance getting the mod top that way vs waiting for dealerships to have access to them and the shipping/freight charges.
