I have the hardtop, but was thinking of getting the soft top as well.

I want to be able to switch back and forth (i.e. Dual Top) but have a few questions:

If I find a used soft top, I want to ensure I get all the brackets. I think it is:
  • (2) Black plastic trim piece for C pillar
  • (2) Black metal blacket that attaches to the top of the vehicle
  • (2) Metal bracket that are bolted to the inside on the left/right of the cargo area
  • (2) Plastic trim pieces that cover where the metal bracket attaches in the cargo area
  • (2) Brackets that attach to the little rectangle areas by the tailgate area

1. Is that bracket inventory above right?

2. Once all of those are installed, can they just stay on the vehicle to switch to the hard top? Meaning is it as simple as taking the bolts out that attach the arms of the soft top to the two metal brackets on the left/right of the cargo area and everything else stays in place?

3. I have seem some soft tops on Facebook marketplace that seem to only be the soft top itself. How easy is it to purchase all the brackets in the bullet list above? Is there an inventory of part #s someone could point me to?

Much appreciated.

For question two - yes! I do this switch too. You just remove the 6 cargo bolts for the soft top and put the hard top on. All of the other hardware stays in place!

The soft top piece is different from what I understand - it has a slot cut for the bracket that the softtop bolts to

Epic - so you don't have to change out the exterior side panel plastic at the C pillar? I am just double checking as I have seen mixed reports there, including this screen in an official Ford video
