Courtesy Lights "Time Out?"

I have a 2022 Braptor that, so far, has been great! One curiosity, however, is the functioning of the courtesy lights upon opening the driver's door. When I open the driver's door after NOT driving it for a couple of days, the courtesy lights do not illuminate. I have to start the vehicle for the courtesy lights to become operational again. Even if the vehicle is remotely started, the interior courtesy lights will not illuminate when the door is opened until the start button is pushed. It seems very odd that there would be any battery drain with a courtesy light actuator. Or do I have a unique gremlin?
