Is danaproparts.com legit? It looks to be but the shop I'm dealing with said it may not be an authorized dealer. Anyone order from them? Are they really an arm of Dana or just some wanna be ripoff using the name?

I am looking at upgrading to the ultimate dana 44 with 32 spline half shafts and the price of the half shafts here is only ~$2750 compared to ~$4000 everywhere else. Seems to good to be true.

https://www.danaaftermarket.com/ is what is linked from Spicer's website: https://spicerparts.com/where-buy

I don't see any mention of www.danaparts.com linked from Spicer. I wouldn't trust it without confirmation directly from Spicer that they are an authorized retailer.

A typical dead giveaway is whether or not they accept credit cards. I didn't go through the order process to see, but if they don't accept credit cards (not through paypal or other similar processors), they are nearly guaranteed fraudulent.

Also, as you mentioned, the 'too good to be true' pricing is a key factor.
