Dash trim change help

Local buy page, a guy is selling a black dash. Wanting to change out the dash color on my 25 big bend which is like a grey. Wanted to see if I would run into any problems so I disassembled the driver side dash part and ran into a problem. The lower trim is melted onto the dash part.

wondering if anybody has came out with a lever way of removing this and putting onto another one.

You will have to drill out the plastic plug (this type of retention is called a heat stake). Then, when reconstructing the assembly you'll need to find creative solution to reattach them.
