Daytime headlights don’t come on

I have my lights switched to auto, and the daytime lights used to come on when I started the car and stayed on, until we disconnected the battery to hook up the lights on the nudge bar to the Aux 1 switch. How do I make these work again?

Are you checking them from outside the vehicle while in park? Daytime running lights do not work in park

Are you sure? Because when I start my car with the keyfob, lights come on and now they aren’t.

100% positive. Those are parking lights, not daytime running lights.

Make sure that DLR is actually turned on in your settings. I had to turn mine on. DLR is independent of auto lights.

I had to turn mine on. Normally Ford has these turned off by default for the US and on for Canada. Unhooking the battery likely reset some of the settings.

Go to a shopping center and park in front of a store with windows and watch the reflection. As mentioned, they only come on in gear. I think they come on during a remote start, and that's weird if they don't now, but the best way to confirm is by watching them in and out of gear

Again. DLR is independent of auto-lights. You have to turn them on in the settings.

Not sure about Park, as I don't have Park. But the DLR will be on with the lights set to off, or auto, (and off in the parking lamp setting) .
