Has anyone installed a wind/bug deflector on top of PPF? I believe there would be enough surface area for a deflector to adhere and hold just fine, and my PPF installer said there wouldn't be an issue, but I would like some real world responses from anyone who may have done this.

I personally don't like the look of the deflectors. But I'm out camping, and noticed squirrels throwing walnuts out of a tree. Of course one hit the front of my hood, putting a small dent in it (it's not a big deal, so before the trolls say it, no Im not going to sell it, or part it out). Being aluminum and having PPF, both pose challenges for PDR. So this incident brought back my thoughts on wanting a deflector to reduce the amount of bugs I collect.

So, what are your thoughts?

Works great on PPF. Also helps with bugs on windshield and rock chips.

Thanks for your response. So no trouble mounted onto your hoods PPF. Good to hear!

Mine is Iconic Silver, so it'll be obvious. Though, I would consider prepping and painting one with the can of Iconic Silver I have.

Please post a pic when you get it installed. Been trying to talk wife into one on her iconic silver badlands. Bugs are bad in Oklahoma, and our windshield can get covered in one night drive. She’s worried how it will look, I honestly think they look kind of rugged on the bronco, and would love to spend less time cleaning that damn windshield.

If you wanted to remove the deflector at a later date would it ruin the PPF? I assume it will pull it off, but I have never had PPF.
