Took delivery a month ago. Had the windows tinted. Before the tint I had them metered first to see what factory was. Rear doors metered at 16% and rear shell metered at 30% I could tell they were different. So I tinted front doors 30%, rear doors 30%, and rear shell 20%. The rears match much better. Front doors are just dark enough for us.

Vinyl wrapped flares. Rigid40” light bar & Rigid 4” ditch lights.
Looks good. Also like the lights. Do you get a lot of wind noise or whistle from the light bar?

Just out for a ride on a rare 77 degree November day. Just love this vehicle.

Not this time. On my Wildtrak, I followed the Ford Performance instructions and routed the wires around the weather stripping and it added a bit of noise. FP has since changed the instructions to remove the insulation tubing and just run both positive and negative wires. This probably would have helped with the noise. I was to lazy to try it and lived with the noise.

On my Raptor I went the Bronco Nation route and drilled a hole under the light bar mount and used a liberal amount of silicone. Much quieter. No whistling and the same amount of wind noise above 70 without the light bar. If you're worried about drilling a hole that could possibly let water in I'd go the FP route. I'm sure removing the thick insulation tubing would have helped with the noise. I don't think you could go wring with either.

Thank you for the information. Surprised wiring was what was causing wind noise. When and if I do a light bar, was planning on doing the hole and wire in the A-pilar.

The insulation tubing on the lightbars are thick. Think outdoor extension cord thick. That was causing an air leak when sandwiched between the weather stripping and hardtop. Hence the reason Ford Performance changed the instruction to strip the insulation tubing away.
