Delivery Reality

Obviously nothing but more speculation here, but one of my 3 local dealerships gave me the following when I inquired about possibly switching my reservation- "Once we place the order, it's a bit of a question mark regarding the timeframe for it to arrive. Typical orders for current lineup takes about 2-3 months, however we could potentially see a quicker turnaround time on the Broncos."

I mentioned the 2-3 month delivery after order seemed incredibly optimistic, to which I got: "The Bronco is a big release for Ford. Theres been a lot of time spent preparing for it so I can't imagine they are not ready to crank them out. My understanding is they are prioritizing the reservations initially over the "dealer units" so we should see any reservation builds pretty quickly."

Obviously the same wishful thinking we're all having here...but I'm fine with setting the expectation low and hoping to be pleasantly surprised before summer...if my truck lasts that long!!

I hope they underpromise and overdeliver than the other way round.

My question to you. With the research you've done how many reservations do you think are before me?

I got my confirmation at 8:03p EST launch night and was one of the first posting here.

I think you can find the smallest reservation number on the list and subrltract yours. Keywords here “as possible” which means probably, they are building red 2 doors on a day and yours is the first red 2 door, they’ll build it if they have the parts they need or else they’ll move onto another one.
