Introducing the next generation of compact LED lighting, the Stage Series C2 2.0 LED Pod! Building on the popularity of the original C2 LED Pod, the newly redesigned C2 2.0 packs even more power, light output, and versatility into the same 2-inch footprint. With its compact design, the C2 2.0 is a go-to for tight mounting spots–roof racks, roll bars, bumpers, A-pillars, you name it. Despite its small size, the new Max option delivers the highest output we’ve ever offered in a two-inch pod at 3900 raw lumens!

Order yours now, we have limited stock available: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/led-pod-lights/diode-dynamics/ssc2-2-0/

You'll also receive FREE COVERS when you order the lights from us. No coupon codes required! Simply add the SSC2 2.0 lights to your cart then add a pair of covers as well. Covers are available here: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/led-pod-lights/diode-dynamics/ssc2-2-0/accessories/

Choose Your Power Level. The C2 2.0 LED pod is now available at three different power levels. All options use high-intensity, automotive-grade LED emitters, and TIR optics for unmatched focus and overall output. The Sport model offers the best bang for your buck with high-intensity LEDs, while the Pro model takes things further with a noticeable boost in total power.

The new Max power level uses the same Osram HX Boost LEDs found in our highest-output SS3 LED pods, delivering 3900 raw lumens. That’s serious brightness from a pod that still fits in the palm of your hand.

Customizable Mounting. The C2 2.0 LED pod features three mounting points to adjust the pod’s height. The revised mounting bracket also allows for even more adjustment to the angle of the pod for a more dialed-in setup.

The C2 2.0 LED Pod Cover will help keep your LED Pod clean and protected from dirt, dust, or whatever else the road throws your way. These covers are made out of a durable polycarbonate plastic that gives your C2 2.0 LED Pod an extra layer of protection. They quickly snap on and off for easy interchangeability, no screws required! These covers come in black, smoked, yellow, amber, or clear. They are also perfect for states that require covers on auxiliary lighting.

And I know folks are going to ask but... YES, If you order a Fog Kit from us you can choose the new SSC2 2.0 Max.

Diode Dynamics are currently NOT shipping the SSC2 2.0 lights with their vehicle specific kits.
WE are doing something similar.

So if you order a fog kit from us and you DO NOT select SSC2 Max... you're getting the current SSC2 from us (UNLESS you specify that you WANT the new 2.0, then we're happy to oblige, but it's not automatic). But IF you order a fog kit from us and you select SSC2 Max, then ALL of the SSC2 we ship will be the new 2.0 (so if you get 1x SSC2 Sport White and 1x SSC2 Max White you're getting both sets upgraded to the 2.0).

This way everything is "matchy matchy"

Any ideas if/when?

I’ve read the specs on the DD site, but there are some differences in the data they provide for the SS3s vs the C2 2.0s.

How does the output of the C2 2.0 Max actually compare to the SS3 Pro (assuming same lens type etc)?

With the release of the Mod bumper with park sensors I’m looking at the KR bracket and adding a few lights to compliment the SS3 pro fogs I have installed.

We're shipping fog kits pretty much the same day the orders come in, even with the new SSC2 2.0

So what data are you looking at? Because there's 2 sets of data basically when it comes to SSC2. The 1.0 and the 2.0

On our site, we listed the SSC2 2.0 Max data but not the Sport/Pro. This was because it's a transition stage but here is the actual data:

  • SS3 Sport: 2,262 lumen each (Yellow are 1,300 lumen each)
  • SS3 Pro: 5,796 lumen each (Yellow are 5,220 lumen each)
  • SS3 Max: 7,920 lumen each (White or Yellow)
  • SSC2 1.0 Sport: 1,130 lumen each (Yellow are 960 lumen each)
  • SSC2 2.0 Sport: 1,190 lumen each (White or Yellow)
  • SSC2 1.0 Pro: 2,898 lumen each (Yellow are 2,610 lumen each)
  • SSC2 2.0 Pro: 3,140 lumen each (White or Yellow)
  • SSC2 Max: 3,960 lumen each (White or Yellow)

I’ve got a standard bumper on a Wildtrak, wanted to stick with OEM and needed the modular with the sensor compatibility. Now that it’s just about here I’ve been looking at options for more light.

I’ve got SS3 Pros in spot and combo paired on the A-pillar, SS3 pro amber fog. My only complaint is with the fog in the standard bumper is not being able to aim it as low as I would like(I’ve got it shimmed to get as low as possible, and still piss off oncoming traffic-though I do think it’s “ok” as it is), and the less than clean cut off. So I was looking at the KR mount and debating what light, lens and power to go with. I think I only want 2 lights in the bumper. I’m thinking the mount would let me get the SS3 fog aimed lower, but maybe the C2 2.0 Max in a white fog would be a good addition and less offensive on the road. It looks like it’s still significantly stronger than the stock fogs, but doesn’t match the SS3 which I could reserve for off road.

Having the DDs already I wanted to stick with them. Any other ideas for set up you’d recommend?

If you're just adding a 2nd light, go with an White Fog.
