Do I Need A Sensor Extension Harness?

About to install DV8 Spec series front and rear bumpers. Do I need an extension harness to install the parking sensors in these? Anyone know? Thanks!

When I installed the DV8 FS-15 Series rear bumper, the harness was stretched very tight. The factory spot on the rear quarter panel to attach the harness could not be used on either side. I ended up taping up the connection just to make sure it stayed secured. I also have the bumper adjusted as close to the body that I could. The sensors are working just fine, but if there is an extension harness available, I am going to get one.
