Does anyone know how to Disable the Cluster Animation with FORScan?

I figured it out when I first got my Bronco.

Unfortunately, I had to take it to the dealer for a warranty issue, and they did some type of software update/config that wiped it out.

Now, I can't replicate it, and it's driving me bonkers.

Please tell me the module, address, and value to change.

Thanks for the response. I believe that is for the center screen. I am trying to disable the animation on the screen above the steering wheel. I've tried every code 00-08 in the APIM - 7D0-03-01 address, but the screen still has animation.

Ohhhh. I'll be honest... I didn't even know the productivity screen (instrument panel) had a startup animation on it on the Bronco.

But anyway... It would be the the IPC module 720-07-01: xxxx xxxx *x--

What's the value currently in that spot?

Yes, once the driver door is open, the instrument cluster has all types of animation. It goes off once the start button is pushed.

“Productivity screen” I love it!! ‘instrument panel’ must have sounded too aggresive or didn’t sound inclusive enough to the ‘people leader’ and their ‘colllegues’ workin on that at Ford.

Change that to a 2 and see if that works.

I don't know if the Bronco has the newer IPC or the older IPC, so I'm guessing a little bit here.

Edit: Never mind. I just thought about it for 30 seconds more and realized that doesn't make any sense.

Which means the Bronco has a different IPC than the older vehicles.... so... more investigation needed. I'll play around this weekend.

Question please: When you are refering to a code, 720-07-01 shouldn't the example be XXX-XX-XX??
It looks confusing to use XXXX XXXX *X when there is not four digits. Just asking to understand.

There are four digits on the addresses Hex Value not the address itself. Thanks

720-07-01 is the configuration line address.

Within each address there is a series of hex digits that make up that configuration, separated into anywhere from one to three hextets. Looks like this:

I typically represent those hextets with the following:

XXXX **XX XX--

• X = hex digits that change the functionality of the module based on their setting
• * = The digit(s) that I'm currently talking about
• - = Checksum digits. This digits don't actually change any functionality, they're just used for error correction.

Using that example above, I would be talking about the first two hex digits of the second hextet.
