So trying to figure out the best solution here. The driver side camera has been intermittent for ages, and would just show up black. I recently found out after having to wipe it down from the winter storms that if I press on the camera a bit, it comes back on. This has been a pretty successful trick and the camera comes back on nearly every time.
Logically, this seems to be some sort of loose connection right where the camera is in the mirror, I just donāt know how to get in there to reseat everything.
Can anyone direct me to a video on how to disassemble the mirror so I can reseat all the connections?
I bought my ā22 Bronco Wildtrak from my pops with 40k miles on its so itās outside of standard warranty, and since it is intermittent, the extended warranty is no help since it has to behaving a problem when they run diagnostics on it, which can take up to 72 hours for them to even get to. If the issue is not happening right when they test it, they deem it a non issue and call me to pick it up.
