The shuttering of the Belvedere plant is not surprising. That happens about every 5 years or so. I will be surprised if it reopens this time however.

I guess this isn't too surprising. Better than China, I guess, although we'd all rather see more manufacturing stay here.

being that this electric line is moving I tend to agree. However electric will be a short lived vehicle as hydrogen based vehicles ramp up world wide with the advent of the new solid state hydrogen.

you don’t really need “stations” for solid state hydrogen BMW is already in A limited production run of hydrogen ix5’s that will convert from hydrogen tanks to CD sized non-combustible solid state discs by 2025 In a joint venture with a US company called plasma kinetics. I’m not really into charging so I like the idea of just trading out these CD’s for more fuel, especially if I’m out off-roading in the middle of nowhere.
