Curious if anyone has any great advice aside from what I’m already doing. But had a small trip this weekend, about 200 miles round trip. About 30 minutes left in the trip my engine light came on and had me panicked. It was the “service engine soon” warning in the app and told me a sensor wasn’t communicating properly. Performance wise everything felt fine. Got up there and didn’t drive it anymore until we had to leave today. Came back with the engine light on the whole time. Got back and got my scanner for code P0111 which has to do with air intake sensor. I have a K&N CAI and have had it on there for over 30k miles without issue. My guess is my sensor is just bad or dirty based on what info I can kind. Went ahead and ordered a new one and might try to clean the current sensor just in case. Figured the dealer would be useless or a waste of money since it’s aftermarket.
Anybody dealt with this already or have other suggestions?

Seems to be a pretty common occurrence with K&N intakes/filters. There’s a few other threads with the same issue if you search the DTC
