2021 Badlands Sasquatch 2 door with high package., 35K miles, day 1 owner - extended warranty in place.
No changes to factory sound system settings or antenna. Vehicle is running perfectly with no drivability issues.
All of a sudden I am getting substantial radio interference on stations that were previously clear as day.
Even tuning to a crappy content local radio station (12 miles away) exhibits some level of radio interference- though not as bad as stations further away
Listening to digital broadcasts ie Spotify is 100% clear.
Listening in the wife's 2024 Explorer side by side to the Bronco shows a major difference in radio reception; The explorer is clear as day, the Bronco is terrible.

Any idea where to start looking for an issue or is this a take it to the dealer type situation?
Thanks in advance

I had something similar when I had the stock antenna. Turned out it had an internal break near the base. Someone probably pulled on it to aggressively and you could see when you bend it the base bent like it was separated inside. I went with an aftermarket short antenna and the reception is better than with the OEM. Not to say that the reception is good. It is not and that's ridiculous for an external antenna...
