I also would take a fold down tailgate but pass on the roll down window. Nothing but problems on FSBs. Obviously a different design over 40 years later shouldn't have the same flaws but I'd just rather not temp fate.

Their mount was impressive. Hauk was one other brand that had a bumper mounted spare that did a similar opening mechanism with the swing gate. Another option i really liked was RTR that actually just replaced the swing gate hinges for beefier hinges instead.

Expedition One has been very responsive to my questions on IG which is cool. Unfortunately their license plate mount location is a deal breaker for me. When I’m lucky enough to escape for a few days of wheeling, camping & laughter I always run a trash bag mounted on my spare. Bummer. I’ll have to find another rear bumper option, I really had high hopes for this one. I’m still interested to see how Expo One’s front bumper and sliders turn out.

Really want to see their sliders, from what i could see on the walk around SEMA from Picken's Party of Five YouTube channel, they look great and frame mounted
