Good afternoon all!

New to the forum, 2 weeks into owning a new (to me) ‘22 EGM Badlands.

I capitalized on the sale to get the factory winch kit at a good price. I have Lux and want to retain ACC. What I don’t want to do is hack up the factory Radiator louver to install the widely available ACC relocation brackets out there. I did search, and have seen two anecdotal reports of ACC continuing to function fine in the stock location after installing the winch… anyone that can verify or let me know if you had luck in that department?

Additionally, the Factory55 Superhook sales material has this image (highlighting my own)….

What gives? Anyone ever seen or know about the highlighted ACC relocation (that is obviously well engineered). Searching turned up nothing… Is it out there somewhere? Is it a one time mockup that Ford decided wasn’t cost effective? Anyone got some inside baseball here? Failing information about this, or success with stock ACC mounting, I’m leaning toward a custom mount for the ACC radar under the winch that can pivot up when I need the clearance for wheeling. Thanks in advance and look forward to seeing you all on the trails… (Anyone doing Off Roadeo in TN on 7 Nov?)

That’s great news…. no adjustments made to the radar at all? I wonder if Ford just couldn’t guarantee operability, so they said No installs with ACC? I would just hate to put it all together then have the radar error out on me lol.

I have no idea, but the winch doesn't block the sensor at all, only upward view is restricted, which doesn't matter.

I just put the winch on my lux badlands. My ACC still works fine. I did notice a slight reduction in range of the radar. On the cluster you can see when a vehicle ahead comes into radar range. This range seems reduced. However, its still plenty for ACC to work as expected.
