FE Ordering Issues - changing door config

During the preorder fiasco I ended up with 2 door FE and need a 4 door FE. Dealer and Ford on a chat said I could change at time of ordering. Any one done this yet?

WBDO lets us change a reservation to order conversion...2 to 4, 4 to 2...even on FE

I think I misread. Looks like the comment was about reservation to order. I was wondering if once the order has been submitted if I can change the trIm after ordering.

Well I’m not 100% sure but some people have said you can up til your individual VIN has been created then you are locked in.

But Ford has also said they want minimal order changes too... so ...?

Beginning timeline of an order:

unscheduled - you can make changes

previewing/unscheduled - order will pull that week, but if you make changes, it may not pull

scheduled to week - you MIGHT be able to make small changes in CONCEPS (things it definitely wont allow is body code changes and PEP code changes)

scheduled to day - you MIGHT still have a chance in CONCEPS (dont ever remember trying)

sent to plant - game over
